TVA Dams, Visitor Centers, & Campgrounds Are Open

TVA Campgrounds, Dam Visitor Centers are open for 2025 Season.

TVA Campgrounds reopened on March 15th, with reservations available through Tennessee Valley Hospitality.

TVA has more than 80 public recreation areas, including campgrounds, day-use areas and boat ramps throughout the Tennessee Valley.

TVA has eight dams with visitor centers featuring displays that highlight more than 91 years of TVA history, provide information about the site you are visiting, and showcase how TVA serves the people of the Valley today.

Cherokee Dam Reservation in Jefferson City, Douglas Dam Reservation near Sevierville, Douglas Dam Tailwater Reservation near Sevierville, Melton Hill Dam Reservation near Lenoir City, Pickwick Dam Reservation near Savannah, Watauga Dam Reservation near Elizabethton.
