Giles County Commission To Meet Monday (3/17/25)

The Giles County Commission will meet Monday, March 17^th, 2025.

On the agenda for the meeting, Approval of Minutes of the February 21, 2025 Regular Session, United Communications will address the commission with an update on the Broadband in Giles County.

The commission will elect Notary Publics at Large and New notaries, they will appoint Jeff Bain to the E911 Board and elect 2 members for 2 year terms to the Equalization Board.

Reports include the Finance Director for January 2025, and the Financial Management Policies and Procedures update.

There are no Grants, Agreements, and Contracts submitted for this month’s meeting.

Resolutions include, Authorizing an amendment of the 2024-2025 Budget, County General Fund 101-Authorizing an amendment of the 2024-2025 Budget, General Purpose School Fund 141, Resolution 2025-15, Approving the write-off of $138,834.85 of uncollected taxes from the books of the Giles County Trustee, and 2025-16, Committing to fund capital projects.
