Tennessee Tree Day 2025 has been rescheduled until Saturday, March 29th Frozen ground conditions in January and February delayed the native tree harvest by six weeks at one of the key nurseries that provides trees for Tree Day.
Tennessee residents may reserve native trees to plant on their properties until March 16th, by visiting the event website: tectn.org/tennesseetreeday
March 28th and 29th Participants can pick up reserved trees at community pick-up sites across Tennessee (see map at event website).
March 29th Participants plant trees at their homes and in their communities.
Tennessee Tree Day is an annual statewide tree planting event organized by Tennessee Environmental Council, a non-profit organization.
