Local Scout Honored

Scouting America, held its 33rd Annual Nashville Patron Luncheon Thursday, March 6th, 2025, at the Music City Center. The fundraising event, attended by more than 800 supporters raises funds to benefit youth involved in Scouting.

Among the honorees this year was Cole Tindell, age 8, of Lewisburg.

Cole is a third grader at Cornersville Elementary School in Cornersville, and a Bear Scout in Pack 273 in Lewisburg.

As a Wolf Scout last year, Cole created and sold a collection of drawings for $300 to help pay down student lunch debt at his school.

Cole was honored as one of four scouts of the year for his commitment to making a difference, not only by relieving financial burdens but also inspiring a community to come together in support of a worthy cause.
