Joann Fabrics Store Closing In Tennessee

After initiating going out of business sales at approximately 500 stores, including ten in Tennessee, all Joann locations are set to close following the fabric and craft retailer’s auction to a new ownership group.

After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the second time within a year, Joann’s remaining assets were put up for auction and retail liquidator GA Group and Joann’s term lenders won the bidding for the struggling company.

Most of the closing Joann stores will remain open until the end of May.

Germantown, Jackson, Clarksville, Franklin, Madison, Mount Juliet, Murfreesboro, Tullahoma, Chattanooga, Johnson City, Kingsport, Knoxville, and Sevierville.
