Lynnville Man Charge With Statutory Rape & Other Charges

Giles County Sheriff Joe Purvis and the Giles County Sheriff’s Department have charged Bernie Milton Jett, age 52 of Lynnville, after a lengthy investigation by the Giles County Sheriff’s Department’s Criminal Investigators.

Jett is charged with multiple counts of Statutory Rape by an authority figure, incest with a minor, and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. This is an ongoing investigation and more charges are expected, including the possibility of additional arrests.
