Local Man Arrested On Sexual Exploitation Charges

The from the Giles County Sheriff’s Department… Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, Investigators with the Giles County Sheriff’s Department, partnered with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security, and Pulaski Police  Department to executed a search warrant on Sunset Drive in  Pulaski.

The purpose of the search warrant was to collect evidence in an ongoing sexual exploitation of a minor investigation. Numerous electronic and storage devices were collected.

Tyler Palma Petty, age 40, was taken into custody and booked on 3 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and 1 count of Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

This is an ongoing investigation and more are charges are expected.

Giles County Sheriff’s Department is a member of ICAC,  Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program, and  continues to actively pursue child predators.
