Gas Prices Edge Higher

Gas prices across Tennessee moved four cents higher, on average, over last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $2.80 which is five cents more expensive than one month ago but five cents less than one year ago.

The latest national average for a gallon of gas is $3.09, three cents more than a month ago and six cents less than a year ago.

The most expensive Tennessee metro markets are Johnson City ($2.87), Nashville ($2.83), Knoxville ($2.82).

The least expensive Tennessee metro markets are Clarksville ($2.72), Chattanooga ($2.72), Memphis ($2.78).
