William Patrick Rutherford of Nashville died Monday, February 3rd, 2025 at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital Nashville. He was born in Texas and 54 years old. He graduated from Giles County High School, was an artist, a cook and baker, he worked as a chef at Peabody Hotel in Memphis and Bread & Company, Bound’ry, Mad Platter, and most recently Red Phone Booth.

Survivors include his parents, William “Bill” and Beth Rutherford of Pulaski, brother, Ted Rutherford of San Antonio, two nephews, step mother Betty Walters of Texas, and several other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 8th in the Margaret Butler Library of First Presbyterian Church of Pulaski from 11:00am until 2:00pm.

Graveside services will be at 2:30pm at Maplewood Cemetery, with Reverend Dr. Amy Stoker of First Presbyterian Church Pulaski officiating.

The family suggests memorial donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Pulaski, P. O. Box 174, 202 S. Second Street, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478 or to the Giles County Public Library, 122 S. Second Street, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for William Patrick Rutherford.
