Shirley Louise Thornton

Shirley Louise Thornton, age 77 of Minor Hill died Wednesday February 5th, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center. She was born in Lauderdale Co., a former employee of Ganton and a member of the Minor Hill First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 10 until 2pm Saturday February 8th, 2025 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.

Services will be at 2pm in the chapel.

Burial will be in Hester’s Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Thornton of Minor Hill, son, Joey Thornton and wife Lisa Cherry of Pulaski, daughter, Glenda Weaver and husband Keith of Pulaski, sisters, Bonnie Swanner of Goodspring, Kathy Long and husband M.F of Lester, Judy Mayo and husband Robert of Pulaski, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Carr and Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Shirley Louise Thornton.
