As Pulaski grows, we gain another new traffic signal. The Pulaski Electric System Board of Directors voted last week to accept a bid of $188,000 from Shoals Electric Company to construct new signals for the intersection at West College and Eighth streets, near where McDonald’s is located.
The cost of upgrading the signals will be the responsibility of the City of Pulaski with Pulaski Electric System doing the work.
Pulaski Electric System took over management and replacement of the city’s signals at a point where they had fallen into disrepair, instead of having the city call out of town to have someone come handle maintenance and repairs.
