Over the weekend Giles County Emergency Services and First Responders conducted a Successful Search and Rescue Operation in Giles County.
On January 24th, 2025, Giles County E-911 received a call reporting a missing person on Marvin Hughes Road. Units from the Giles County Sheriff’s Department responded and requested assistance from the Giles County Office of Emergency Management.

Additionally, a special thank you to Oak Grove Baptist Church who graciously opened their facility to provide a warm space for volunteers to rest and regroup.
