Will Mayfield Named Vice Chair of National Cattlemen’s Beef Association International Trade Committee

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (announced that Pulaski, Tennessee cattle producer Will Mayfield will serve as vice chair of the association’s International Trade Committee.

Initiated in 1898, NCBA is the oldest and largest national trade association representing America’s cattle farmers and ranchers.

Mayfield is a fourth-generation cattle farmer in Giles County where he runs Mayfield Farms in partnership with his father. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in animal science from the University of Tennessee. He previously worked for the American Angus Association and Select Sires before moving closer to home.

In addition to running his farm, Mayfield works as a commercial real estate appraiser. Mayfield is completing his term as chair of the NCBA Political Action Committee. In the 2024 election cycle, the committee raised over $1.2 million to support political candidates who fight for farmers and ranchers.

“Will is a great addition to the International Trade Committee and a welcomed voice for younger cattle producers” said Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association Executive Vice President Charles Hord, Jr.
