The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation is accepting applications for the first round of solid waste materials management grants this year for communities and other eligible entities across the state.
Applications for Waste Reduction and Organics Management grants are available February 28th through April 11th for municipalities, counties, and not-for-profit entities.
Technical Assistance grants are available for applications February 28th through March 28th for Development Districts to offer free assistance with annual solid waste reporting and grant activities for all municipalities and counties.
All grant applications are submitted online via the department’s Grants Management System. More information about the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation grant program for solid waste materials management is also available online.
Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation will host a grant workshop March 5th at Montgomery Bell State Park. To sign up for the workshop, visit the Grants Administration website.
