Robert Lynn “Bobby” Vanderpool

Robert Lynn “Bobby” Vanderpool of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Friday morning, December 10th, 2025 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski, Tennessee.  He was born in McMinnville, Tennessee on January 11th, 1948 and was 76 years old.

He was the owner of Zoom Lube here in Pulaski. Bobby was an avid University of Tennessee fan and loved sports in general. For those who knew Bobby well, he had a genuine compassion for helping people in their time of need. Often, he’d provide automotive services at a reduced rate or free if he thought someone needed it and couldn’t afford it. Quietly he would always ask about someone’s health or wellbeing. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. 

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Dot Davis Vanderpool, Brother Jimmy Vanderpool along with his nephew Jimmy Potts.

He is survived by his,

Nephew, Knox (Brooke) Vanderpool of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Niece, Stacie Vanderpool Potts of Tullahoma, Tennessee

Great nieces and nephews, Ashton (Jay) Potts Coop, Braxdon Potts, Jett Vanderpool, Rocker Vanderpool and Stevi James Vanderpool.
