Giles County Warming Centers

As colder temperatures settle in, Giles County is prepared to ensure everyone in our community has a safe place to warm-up.

Several local churches have partnered with the Giles County Office of Emergency Management to provide warming centers during the upcoming winter weather.

Warming Center Locations and Hours are….

Richland Baptist Church – Open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Elkton Methodist Church – Call 931-393-0911 and request Emergency Management if needed

First Methodist Church – Open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

First Baptist Church – Open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

St. Andrews Community Church – The church office is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 12:00pm and Wednesday night from 9:00pm to 7:00am

For assistance after normal business hours, please contact Giles County 911 at 931-363-0911. They will notify the Giles County OEM and arrange for a warming center to be opened.
