Take Care When Driving in Frigid Conditions

When driving in frigid conditions, TEMA urges residents to do several things, including: avoid travel when possible; keep an emergency kit in your vehicle that includes a blanket and other necessities; never attempt to move downed power lines; call THP if you get stranded by calling *THP (*847); and before heading out, be sure to call 5-1-1- for traffic information from the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
