Southside Elementary Is A Reward School

Southside Elementary School has been recognized as a Reward School.

The Tennessee Department of Education selects schools and districts each year that are eligible based on their overall performance across various benchmarks.

Schools are recognized when they demonstrate high levels on the benchmarks with the reward program highlighting improvement and performance from the prior year.

Southside is one of the top 377 schools in the State of Tennessee, which is an amazing accomplishment.

Director of School Dr. Vickie Beard applauded the hard work and effort of everyone involved in making Southside a Reward School, saying…

“We’re very proud of Southside Elementary School, it takes a lot of work to become a reward school, it’s a testament to their ability to work together and to do what’s best for our children”.
