The Tennessee Highway Patrol and other state and local agencies in Tennessee are assisting the Huntsville Police Department with resources related to their missing person investigation.
The family of Ronald Dumas Jr. from Huntsville, Alabama organized a search to find him after his car was found abandoned on the side of the interstate in Jackson, Tennessee.
Dumas has not been seen since December 15th.
Huntsville Police said Dumas drove to Middle Tennessee, then drove west and left his car on the side of the road. Cell phone records show that he kept heading west and made it as far as Jackson before his phone turned off.
There is a $2,500 reward for information that helps find Dumas.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol provided aviation and state troopers to assist detectives. Please contact the Huntsville PD at 256-427-5448 with any information related to Mr. Dumas’s whereabouts.
