Maury County Fugitive Arrested In Mt. Juliet

The Mt. Juliet Police Department announced they arrested a man wanted out of Maury County for violent rape and aggravated burglary.

Police were alerted to the suspect due to license plate readers directing them to his location.

Police found the suspect after he passed in and out of the city between Nashville and Mt. Juliet near the county line.

The 42-year-old Columbia man was arrested. Police also found that he was armed with a handgun.
