Update On Giles County Murder Case

In an update to an earlier and ongoing story, a man who was considered a missing person out of Florida has been taken into custody in connection with another man’s death in Giles County according to authorities.

The Giles County Sheriff’s Department said a report came in Tuesday, November 26th about a possible deceased person along Ichabod Lane. Shortly after units arrived at the scene, they discovered a dead man, identified by officials as Darren Cody Gambrel.

Following an investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, the sheriff’s department said there was enough evidence to arrest Adam Arthur Rosenthal, who was charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault resulting in death, and tampering with evidence.

Officials said they learned Rosenthal was considered a missing person out of Gainesville, Florida. In addition, authorities believe Rosenthal is wanted for questioning in connection with serious crimes in other states.

The sheriff’s department thanked everyone involved with the case, including Giles County EMS, the Pulaski Police Department, the Giles County Office of Emergency Management, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the 22nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
