Dorothy “Dot” Annette Orton of Pulaski died Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. She was born in Lawrence County, and was 85 years old. She was a member of East Hill Church of Christ, a member of the Pulaski Gardening club and the Night Bloomers Gardening Club, and a vital part of the growth of Dr. Joel Orton’s optometry practice.
Visitation will be Monday, November 4th, 2024 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Sain officiating.
Burial will be in Giles Memory Garden.
Survivors include her Husband, Joel Orton of Pulaski, Daughter, Joanna McConnell of Murfreesboro, Daughter, Lara and husband Bryan Bowen of Nashville, 4 Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Dorothy “Dot” Annette Orton.
