Saturday, Limestone County Sheriff deputies responded to a call for a possible overdose on Witty Mill Road in Elkmont.

Upon arrival, deputies determined that 54-year-old Lawrence Ward Light was deceased.

During the investigation, probable cause was found to obtain a search warrant for the residence.

Investigations indicated that 60-year-old Rebecca Myrick, of Elkmont, was the one who allegedly gave Light fentanyl that caused his death.

During a search of the residence, investigators located more fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. Probable cause was found to arrest Myrick for Manslaughter, Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

No bond has been set for her at this time.
