Howard Colin “Preacher” Leighton

Howard Colin “Preacher” Leighton, age 81, of Pulaski died Sunday, October 20th, 2024, at NHC Scott in Lawrenceburg. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, worked at Murray Ohio, Stephens Manufacturing, and retired from Maremont Gabriel. He was a Church of Christ minister for 60 years, a troop committee chairman for the Boy Scouts and received the Pulaski Citizen of the Week award.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Whattley Leighton, daughter, Michele Burrus and husband Brian, son, Michael Leighton and wife Glenda,1 daughter-in-love, Sherry Belew, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several other family members and friends.

Visitation will from 5:00 until 8:00pm Friday, October 25, 2024, at East Hill Church of Christ, 509 E. Madison Street, Pulaski.

Services will be at East Hill Church of Christ at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 26, 2024, with Kase Britton officiating.

The family suggests memorials be made to CW Hart Scholarship Fund.
