Two Killed In Lincoln County Accident

Two people were killed following a head-on crash on Booneville Road late Sunday afternoon.

According to a report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, John C Creech, 59, of Tennessee, was heading North on Booneville Road when his 2002 Jeep Cherokee crossed the center-divided line and crashed head-on into a 2017 Subaru Legacy.

Twenty-two-year-old Rachel Gatewood-Griffin, of Tennessee the driver of the Subaru, died as a result of the crash.

A 24-year-old female passenger in Creech’s automobile was injured.
