Monday, October 7th the City of Pulaski Fire Department, Pulaski Police Department Public Safety Officers, Giles County Office of Emergency Management Hazardous Response Team, City of Pulaski Water Treatment Plant, and TEMA will conduct a joint hazardous materials exercise from 8 until 11am.
The exercise will be held near the Pulaski Water Treatment Plant near 4th & Shoal Street.
During the exercise some roads will be closed for safety reasons.
The exercise is schedule to enhance first responders’ preparedness and response capabilities in the event of a hazardous material incident.
Residents and businesses in the area of the Water Treatment Plant are asked to be aware of the road closings, and avoid the area during the exercise if possible.
