Myra “Cricket” McGill Siniard, age 89 of Minor Hill, passed away Sunday September 29, 2024 at STRHS Pulaski surrounded by her loving family.
Myra was born in Minor Hill, TN on November 7, 1934 to David Homer and Flora Lee Thorne McGill. Myra, fondly known as “Cricket”, was a homemaker who loved flowers, singing gospel songs as well as blue grass, and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ottis Siniard; son Mike Siniard; and 5 siblings.
Visitation will be from 1pm-3pm on Tuesday October 1, 2024 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 3pm. Interment will be New Salem Cemetery.
Myra is survived by her sons Alan Siniard (Michelle) of Pulaski, Jimmy Siniard (Sherry) of Minor Hill; daughters Sheri Thompson (Steve) and Debbie Flynn (Eddie) both of Minor Hill; brothers Don McGill (Carol) of Indiana, Daniel McGill (Joyce) of Athens, Billy Ray McGill (Barbara) of Pulaski, and Terry McGill of Columbia; sister Sandra Summey of Petersburg; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and life long friend Sarah Bassham Pierce.
