Local Departments Send Help Up to Eastern Tennessee for a Land Search and Rescue Team

Members of the Lawrence County Fire Rescue, Loretto Fire Department, Loretto Police Department, Maury County Fire, Springhill Fire, Columbia Fire, and Mount Pleasant Fire teams came together to respond to Unicoi County as a land search and rescue team. Our fire personnel and law enforcement teams are courageous in their efforts to help other counties in need at this time. To receive their assignment, the team drove through the night and is currently in a briefing. This is going to be an extremely difficult and emotional mission. We ask that you keep our team members and those impacted by this tragedy in your prayers and thoughts.
