Charles Douglas Rowland of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away on Friday, September 27th, 2024, at his home in Giles County. He was born in Fort Stewart, Georgia on February 12th, 1959 and was 65 years old.
Charles was appointed to the Air Force Academy in high school. He then attended to Georgia Tech where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. After a engineering position at Intergraph in Huntsville, Alabama, he moved to Pulaski in 1995 where he worked in packing at Frito-Lay. Charles enjoyed tearing things apart and putting them back together again. He loved babysitting his family and loved Annabel his cat. Chuck was an avid SEC football fan and loved sports.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with pastor Robby Henderson officiating.
His cremains will be intered in the Veterans Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Wilburn Rowland. Sister-in-law, Brenda and Allen Barrett and father and mother-in-law, CL and Margueriette Carvell.
He is survived by,
His partner of 30 years, Deborah Bunn of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Mother, Betty Adamson Rowland of Buford, Georgia.
Brother, Donald Wayne and Peggy Rowland of Lynchburg, Virginia.
Brother, Wilburn Eric and Kim Rowland of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Sister, Kathy Irene and Marshall Williams of Flowery Branch, Georgia.
Sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Jerry Galloway of Pulaski, Tennessee. Bud Stewart and Roxie Byrd of Pulaski, Tennessee. JC and Ruth Stewart of Pulaski, Tennessee. Carla and Robert Potts of Tyner, North Carolina.
Step-children, Tomi and Robby Henderson of Pulaski, Tennessee. Bridget and Lynn Rolin of Ardmore, Tennessee. Dixil and Roy Humphrey of Eva, Alabama, and Jonas Bunn of Ardmore, Tennessee.
Special granddaughter, Mary Hannah and Cortez Gardner and their family of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Several nieces and nephews along with several other grandchildren also survive.
