Commission Meeting Insights

A regular session commission meeting was held on Tuesday, September 24th. Several notable insights were gathered from the meeting: Chairman of the Lawrence County Board of Commissioners Shane Eaton was reelected. Dave Ray, a commissioner, was chosen to serve as Pro Tempore of the Lawrence County Legislature. Lawrence County’s Director of Accounts & Budget, Brandi Williams, was reappointed. Charlie Holt was reappointed to the position of Lawrence County Attorney. Kelly Odom was reappointed to her position as Lawrence County’s purchasing agent. The Lawrence County Opioid Abatement Council appointed Sheriff John Myers. Lawrence County gave the West Gaines School Property to the Tennessee Not-For-Profit Corporation West Gaines School Community Center, Inc..
