Alabama Department of Transportation System Project

According to the Alabama Department of Transportation, work on the $5.2 million “intelligent transportation system project” is already completed on I-565 between Mooresville Road in Limestone County and U.S. 72 in Huntsville. According to ALDOT, it will add two weather stations, three dynamic message systems, and ten traffic cameras to monitor the environment and improve traffic flow throughout the corridor.
