Charles E. Braswell

Charles E. Braswell, age 84 of Lawrenceburg, passed away Friday September 20,
2024 at STRHS Lawrenceburg.
Charles was born February 2, 1940 in Lawrence County, TN to Eddie Leon and
Catherine Camilla Hogan Braswell. He was a member of the Church of Christ, was
retired from Kroger where he worked for many years as a butcher, loved watching
Gunsmoke or any kind of western, but his favorite pass time was riding his bicycle.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Catherine Braswell, sisters
Esther Ellaglyn Braswell, Brenda Kay Braswell, Linda Sue Sutton, and a niece Jodi
Erin Woods.
Visitation will be 4-7pm Monday September 23, 2024 at Pettus Turnbo Funeral
Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s

Survivors include his wife Diane Braswell of Lawrenceburg, brothers Eddie Braswell
(Ellen), Larry Braswell (Linda), Norman Braswell (Melanie) all of Lawrenceburg,
sisters Lelia Jones of Ethridge, and Donna Shed (Jerry) of Summertown.
