Joan Delois Perry

Joan Delois Perry, age 77 of Ethridge, TN, passed away on
Thursday, September 19, 2024. She was a retired nurse
of over 40 years who especially enjoyed working with
babies. She was a faithful member of Flatwoods Church
of Christ, and former member of Gandy Church of Christ.
She enjoyed listening to music, dining and dancing with
her sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow
Wilson Payne and Mary Louise Payne; husband, Nolan
Perry; and brothers, Jay Payne and Charles Bosheers.
She is survived by her sisters, Margie Vadean Bradley and
Joy Bryson; brother, Douglas Payne; several nieces and
nephews; and canine companion Abby.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024
from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral
Home.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23,
2024 at 11:00 a.m. Brother Dave Canterbury will be
officiating. Interment will be at Ethridge Old Masonic
Cemetery.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of handling all
final arrangements.
