New playgrounds for Florence High School and Muscle Shoals Middle School

Modern special needs playgrounds are being built at Florence High School and Muscle Shoals Middle School. Dianna Ritter, principal of Muscle Shoals Middle School, reported that the decision had advanced rapidly at her school in less than a day. The playground’s surrounding landscape is now being worked on, and the framework for an inclusive, accessible swing set and a slide structure have already been constructed. The idea of the project is for everyone to be involved together, be accepting, and enjoy a day outside.
