Joyce Spurgeon of Pulaski, TN passed away on Thursday, September 12 th , 2024 at Southern Tennessee
Regional Health System Pulaski. She was born on October 4 th , 1949 and was 74 years old.
Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a very strong woman. Joyce
loved shopping, especially at yard sales. She enjoyed fishing and sewing in her free time.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15 th , 2024 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Bennett-May &
Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will take place on Monday, September 16 th , 2024 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-
May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The burial will be at Giles Memory Gardens.
Joyce was preceded in death by, her husband, Clarence Spurgeon, father, Rufus Dunnavant, mother,
Virginia Martin, siblings, Doug Dunnavant, and Frances Guffy, son, Bobby Cagle, grandson, Corey Cagle,
Sons-in-law, Jerry McMullins, brother-in-law, Roy Jarrett, and daughter-in-law, Barbara Cagle.
She is survived by,

Daughters, Donna McMullins of Pulaski, TN
Loretta Teeples of Pulaski, TN
Grandchildren, Brandon and Josh Cagle, Kevin Norwood, Amanda (Marco) Shaw, Drew (Gina) Cagle,
Alden Cagle, Crystal (David) McGill, Justin Burchell, Shane Vincent, Keisha (Brandon) Kelly, Trent
(Amanda) Teeples, and Blair Teeples.
