Glen David Wright, 73, of Killen, passed away September 11, 2024 at Mitchell Hollingsworth
Nursing Facility. He was a retired shipping manager at Champion/International Paper, a member
of the Traffic Club and a member of North Carolina Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Wife of 50 years: Vickie Wright
Daughter: Rhonda Palmer
Brothers: Phillip Wright(Sandra) & Dale Wright(Linda)
Sisters: Connie King(James) & Adgie Allen(Greg)
Niece: Claudia Askew(Jeff)
Grandchildren: Austin Palmer & Ethan Palmer
Preceded in death by:
Parents: James Emmett Wright & Clayton Nell Beavers Wright
Visitation will be Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 10:00am – 12:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral
Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Don
Williams officiating.
Pallbearers will be nephews: Jamie King, Jonathan King, Jody King, Jacob Wright, Joseph
Wright, Corey Glover & Clay Glover.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
