The November 5th election is just around the corner. Voters will vote for state, and national races, and the U.S. President.
Locally, two towns will fill vacancies, and voters outside of the City of Pulaski will vote to consider equalizing the county’s local sales and use tax rate by 25 cents per $100 spent.
Pulaski has an opening for three full-term aldermen, qualified incumbents are, Ricky Keith, Randy Massey, and Larry Worsham, and challenger Janice Marks Tucker.
Ardmore will elect three full-term aldermen, choices include incumbent, Wayne Harvell, and newcomers, Harry Fortenberry, Sheri Hunt, Christopher Wilson, and James A. Bonner.
Voters who have not registered have until October 7th to register to vote in the November 5th election. For more information, call the Giles County Election Commission at 363-2424, visit the office, or go to votegilescounty.com.
Early voting will take place October 16th through 31st.
