Giles County Faces Lawrence County For Cowbell Trophy Thursday

The Giles County Bobcats (1-2) will host the Lawrence County Wildcats (1-2) on Thursday night in the Brickyard.

Due to the official shortage in the TSSAA, every school in the state is required to schedule a Thursday night game. Both schools agreed to play their Thursday games for this matchup.

The Bobcats come off their first victory of the season, a 38-7 beatdown of Fayetteville City.

The Wildcats have struggled all season, dropping a 14-0 loss to Summertown and a 28-19 loss to Lincoln County.Their lone win comes from a 28-21 nailbiter over Loretto.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM and the game will be on WKSR – 100.9 and 107.7 FM, 1420 AM, and streaming on the Radio App.
