Community Briefs Update – 9/11 – 10/26

Out 9/11/24 – The Giles Chamber Networking Coffee will be held Wednesday the 11^th from 8:15-9:30 at the First National Bank, 206 S 1st Street. Coffees provide members with information on upcoming Chamber and community events, knowledge about the hosting member’s business, and opportunities to win great door prizes.

Out 9/14/24 – The 3rd annual RALLY FOR CHRIST (9/14) from 2 to 7pm, with bands, singers, preachers, and Christian advocates, to participate or host a booth, free of charge, call 608-449-0436.

Out 9/14/24 – Richland High School 4th Annual Pistons & Pancakes, Saturday, (9/14) @ Richland High School, Breakfast is $10 a plate, plus free of charge you can enjoy the Cruise-In and Vendor Expo.

Out 9/16/24 – Woodman Life Chapter 943 will meet Monday 9/16/24 @ Noon @ the Pulaski Recreation Center. Members bring a side dish.

Out 9/21/24 – Rev Your Engines for an Epic Day at the Courthouse Square on Saturday (9/21). Get ready for a day of hands-on fun as trucks and vehicles of all kinds roll into Pulaski’s historic downtown Courthouse Square! From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, kids (and kids at heart!) can climb aboard, honk the horns, and explore these incredible machines up close.

Out 9/21/24 – Minor Hill Junior Beta Club Pancake Breakfast, Saturday (9/21), 7am until 11am @ the Minor Hill Community Building, Tickets are $8.

Out 9/21/24 – Fish Fry @ New Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church, Saturday (9/21) Noon to 6pm, Plates are $20 for adults, $10 for kids 6 to 11.

Out 9/25/24 – VA Clothing Drive, now through 9/25, items needed “White Colored” new Mens & Womens underwear, socks, t-shirts, & bras, all sizes. Drop-off @ the Veterans Service Office or American Legion Post 60.

Out 10/3/24 – Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser, Thursday (10/3) from 4 until 7pm @ 1^st National Bank’s Heritage Theatre, Dine-In or Carryout. Spaghetti, Salad, Bread, Dessert, & Drink, $12. For tickets call 931-478-6521 by 9/20/24.
