THP Sidelines A Malfunctioning Commercial Motor Vehicle

A trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s MC+ unit in Giles County performed a recent inspection on a Commercial Motor Vehicle.

The trooper detected a broken brake chamber on the vehicle.

The unsafe truck was put out of service before the brake chamber had the opportunity to possibly fall onto the roadway, or malfunction, where it could have caused an accident.
