Veronica Reynolds Brown

Veronica E. Reynolds-Brown formerly of Pulaski was born to the union of Jake W. Reynolds and Patricia Ann Brown Houston on October 7, 1963. She entered eternal rest on August 27,2024.

Veronica was baptized at an early age, Her Christian experience began at Old Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under Reverend Dalton Holt and Pastor C. L. Parks. She later joined Temple of Praise under the pastorate of Apostle Stanley R. Garrett until she moved to Murfreesboro, TN and joined Silver Springs Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Pastor Ronald R. Jones. She served as Sunday School secretary and on the Usher Board.

Veronica was educated in the Giles County School System. Veronica had a great work ethic. She was dedicated and dependable. She had almost 30 years working with local government (Giles County Sheriff’s Department and Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department). She made an impact on so many women that were incarcerated by letting her light shine. In their words, “We love some Officer Brown”.

Veronica will always be remembered as a kind, caring and loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Veronica loved her family, and she devoted her life to the care and concern of her children and grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her beloved father, Deacon Jake W. Reynolds; her loving daughter Erika K’tish (Darryl) Yow; her loving sons Wallace Rodriquez Gilbert and Carlos F. Reynolds; her brothers William, Jake, and Tory Reynolds; her sisters Dr. Shonda Reynolds (Kenneth) Christian, Kimberly (Rex) Massey, Shana D. Reynolds, and Toi N. Houston. Her beloved grandchildren, Chris Carter, Carlos Crawford, Frankie and Donnie Reynolds, and Elijah Smith and Braylen Houston; her uncles, Deacon Thomas, Eskimo, and Minister Eddie Reynolds; her aunt Doris Massey. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral service for Veronica Eunice Reynolds Brown will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 beginning 1pm at Temple of Praise Church

1030 Ragsdale Lane, Pulaski, TN 38478.

 

Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Veronica Eunice Reynolds Brown.
