THE MAURY COUNTY MAYOR’S OFFICE IS REMINDING RESIDENTS OF THAT THE FINAL DAY FOR DEBRIS PICKUP RELATED TO THE MAY 8TH TORNADO WILL BE SEPTEMBER 11TH. AFTER THIS DATE, ANY DEBRIS REMAINING ON PROPERTIES WILL BECOME THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PROPERTY OWNER TO DISPOSE OF. TO ENSURE A SMOOTH AND ORDERLY PROCESS, THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT REQUESTS THAT ALL DEBRIS BE PLACED AT THE CURBSIDE BY THE END OF THE DAY ON SEPTEMBER 8TH. AFTER SEPTEMBER 11TH, ANY DEBRIS NOT COLLECTED WILL NOT BE PICKED UP BY THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT AND MUST BE HANDLED BY THE PROPERTY OWNER.
