Jimmy Cletus Weems, 88, of Killen, passed away August 20, 2024, at his residence. He was a mechanic and the owner of J & E Transmission and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include:
Wife: Learley Burbank Weems
Sons: Jerry Weems(Amy) & Tim Weems(Wendy)
Daughter: Cindy Singleton(Earnest)
Sister: Ethel Holden
Grandchildren: Jonathan Singleton(Michelle), Randall Singleton, Colt Weems(Anna),
Brent Weems, Brian Weems, Kyle Weems(Katie), Caden Weems & Laynie Weems
Great grandchildren: Kaylee Singleton, Kirsten Singleton, Adam Singleton, Bryson Weems
& Dalton Weems
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Frank George Weems & Annie Elizabeth Curtis Weems
Brothers: Bill Weems & Bobby Weems
Sisters: Gladys Baker & Elois Thigpen
Visitation will be on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Isaac Brown officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Singleton, Randall Singleton, Colt Weems, Brian Weems, Brent Weems, Kyle Weems, Caden Weems & Laynie Weems.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
