Athens Honored @ Awards Of Excellence Banquet

The City of Athens received five state-wide recognition awards during the annual Awards of Excellence Banquet.

Main Street Alabama held the 11th annual Awards of Excellence banquet at the Community House in Alabama earlier this month. The banquet celebrates the successes of local programs.

Athens received five awards….Excellence in Business Development for the city’s restaurant boom, Excellence in Promotion for Fridays After Five, Excellence in Fundraising for investor recognition, Excellence in Building Design for the Old Black Bear Brewing Company and the Reinvestment Award.
