Giles County Economic Development Work Session (8/26/24)

A Giles County Economic Development Work Group will be held at the Courthouse Annex Basement Boardroom, Monday, August 26th, 2024 @ 4:00pm.

On the Agenda for the Work Shop are preliminaries, approval of minutes, public comments, the Chair’s Business, including key task emphases on small & medium businesses, tourism, and water and wastewater infrastructure.

Guest Speakers will also be heard including Jesse Parker of the Giles County Chamber of Commerce in support for local businesses, tourism, and then a question & answers segment. And, Daryl Williamson of the Limestone Water & Sewer Authority talking about commercial and industrial development verses residential development, targeting specific areas of the county verses the county as a whole, followed by a question & answers segment.
