A Silver Alert has been issued for a Giles County Resident, Local authorities are urgently seeking the public’s help in locating Caulyne Cross, an 82-year-old African American woman who was last seen around 1:30pm August 13th, 2024.
Mrs. Cross, who stands 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds, was last seen wearing a pink pajama top and red pants. Mrs. Cross has a medical condition that will impair her ability to return home safely.
Search efforts have been extensive, with search crews working tirelessly throughout the night, with Search Operations resuming this morning. Giles County authorities are leading the search for Mrs. Cross and have involved assistance from numerous agencies, including the local Sheriff’s Department, Giles County Emergency Services (EMS, Giles OEM, Giles Co Fire and Rescue), Marshall County OEM, SAR, and K9, Williamson County OEM, K-9, Maury County OEM, SAR, and K-9, Moore County K-9, Bedford County OEM, K-9, Franklin OEM, K-9, TEMA, THP, and TBI’s Aviation units.
A staging area has been established at 970 Powell Chapel Rd, where all volunteers and citizens wishing to assist in the search are asked to report and check-in.
The community’s involvement is crucial, and we strongly urge anyone with information or who may have seen Mrs. Cross to contact Giles County E911 at 931-363-0911 immediately. Your help is vital in bringing Mrs. Cross home safely.
