Dwight Ashworth

Dwight F. Ashworth, age 71, of Summertown, TN passed away Tuesday, August 06, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, owner of Action Machine & Design, and a member of Unity Baptist Church.  Dwight was an avid drag racer and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Austin Ashworth.

He is survived by one son, Phillip Ashworth (Jennifer) of Harvest, AL; his mother, Helen Foster Ashworth of Summertown, TN; one sister, Tonya Roper (Talmadge) of Summertown, TN; one granddaughter, Olivia Ashworth; one grandson, Liam Ashworth; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  Graveside services and interment will be conducted at John Lay Cemetery at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 11, 2024, with Randall Runions officiating.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
