Exercise Caution In School Zones

Motorists are reminded to be extra cautious in the mornings and afternoons as students return to school on Monday.  Watch for children near the roadways and take extra care when approaching school buses.  When a bus has its stop sign extended, motorists are required to stop.  They must remain stopped until the lights stop flashing, the stop sign is withdrawn, and the bus begins to move.  Also, motorists should pay attention to speed limits in all school zones.
