Heat Advisory Again Today (8/1/24)

THE HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7PM THIS EVENING…

Very little relief through remainder of morning hours with heat index values up to 109 expected during afternoon hours today for all of Middle Tennessee except for Cumberland Plateau.

Hot temperatures and high humidity could cause heat illnesses.

Please, if possible, drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
