According to information released through the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, an increase in unemployment rates in counties during the month of June can be attributed to seasonal changes in employment, such as school breaks. June statistics showed an increase in the unemployment rate in all 95 counties. Both Sevier and Williamson Counties came in at the lowest rate of 2.7%. The highest rate was measured in Bledsoe County, at 5.8%.
